While I agree that religious organizations should not discriminate against homosexuals and Lesbians or whatever any individual categorizes themselves, It is wrong because we are not to judge any individual. I do believe that God is holy and he expects us to be holy. When we walk into a church or come into his presence we are not perfect and he knows that…but we are made righteous through his sons atonement on the cross. Having said that, whether anyone believes in Jesus Christ as the son of God. A straight woman who comes to church to entice a man with her cleavage or big butt is not respecting God’s law. It is wrong to come into a sacred place to turn it into a place of porn. Just as a homosexual who comes into church expecting people to respect their sexuality. I guess what I am saying is that church is a place of reverence to God. It is being yourself without being rude about it. Being accepted as the LGBT community doesn’t mean come into a sacred place flaunting your body like a straight person would have if he or she was prostitute off the street. In that regard whether gay or straight, making church out to be a sex show is sinful! Many people do it regardless of their sexual preference. In response to changing the homophobia that church have against the LGBT, many people are gay and still in the church but they are in the closet. My question is that you want church to change his or her views about homosexuality so that you can worship God freely? or because you want to walk into church dress as though you were going to a gay Pride Parade? That is the question. And if the answer is yes, deep down that doesn’t work? And if going to church to flaunt your flamboyant side is what your motive is then you need to really soul search. Please don’t use racism that was used toward Afro-Americans to make church unholy place. People are human but we need respect for God and ourselves at the same time. I see some post just blandly cursing God out. F…this and f that catholic church and God F rules, I mean you want respect give respect back. We all need to respect one another. Don’t change the church if all you want to do is come in to taint it. That is wrong!
