Ethan definitely have strong views and is open about his opinion of the black race. Racist ideology happens a lot in white males like him. He's never really studied Afro-American history but watches the news, or see a handful of blacks that fit the stereotype of thugs; and places all blacks in that catogory. The fact that he questions whether you like black men or not is a fear he has maybe of coming up short in the bedroom. I don't know if that is so much of a racist as anyone else. It can be....having dated white males myself, black man would wonder why I would be attracted to white men? And vice versa, many white females and black males automatically assume there is the angry black woman syndrome when they walk past a black female. I have experience hatred from white girls who judge me right off the bat because of my skin color. Its this type of thinking that needs to stop but many people in our society have it. You made a state that you hope Ethan has changed his thinking. Probably not! Especially if he associates with others who share his core beliefs about other ethnicities.
