The Year of 2020 brought a death toll that has taken us all by surprise; however, it was nearly 99 years ago that the world experienced the 1918 Influenza break out that caused the demise of over 50 million people while Sar’s Covid 19 has claimed the lives of 2 million and counting.

The virus had been spreading since 2019 leading me to believe that on October 2019, I had become gravely ill with the disease. My temperature was between 101 and 104. I coughed up bloody mucus from my lungs and I saw a doctor who put me on bed rest for almost two weeks. I felt like I was going to pass away. Thank God I didn’t. No, it was never diagnosed whether or not I had the plague but I know in my heart I probably did. That is why I am not making light of the tragedies that have occurred. What I will make clear is how this Pandemic put a stop to school violence due to the quarantine, exposing China’s Infected meat Market, the racial divide not only in America but all over the World; and finally how unfriendly folk are even in churches that make people question their faith yet through it all ….I believe there is still hope.

Beginning with school violence
